Our Mission
To transform lives and strengthen the Alicia Sanchez International School community by breaking the cycle of poverty through supporting innovation in education that develops knowledgeable, open-minded and caring global citizens that are prepared for the 21st Century.
About Us
The Sanchez Foundation is a fund of The Community Foundation serving Boulder County, formed in 2011 to support a high quality community learning and family resource center at Alicia Sanchez International School. It is guided by an all-volunteer group of community members, Sanchez faculty members, and Sanchez parents and guardians. The foundation’s work is supported by a broad base of local community organizations.

Impact
Alicia Sanchez International School is a fully authorized IB World School. As an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP), we prepare students to become active, caring, lifelong learners while focusing on the development of the whole child. Our curriculum and programming and Family Resource and Learning Center provide comprehensive, wrap-around supports to students and families. Despite demographic challenges of poverty, second language learning, and mobility, we are proud to be "Beating the Odds."
